  4. Be sure to read the documentation fully, its worth a couple of minutes.

  6. Two important warnings when using Burn:
  7.  
  8. 1.  When an alias is dragged to Burn the original is destroyed, not the alias.
  9.     This is different from the behavior of the "trash can".
  10.  
  11. 2.  Before using the erase free space option you should use a disk check
  12.     utility such as Apple's Disk First Aid to be sure your disk is healthy.
  13.     If your disk already has a damaged directory Burn could damage it further.
  14.
